Learn how to create an extraordinary sketchbook page using the simple building blocks of line, shape, and color.
On Day 1, you’ll design your page and paint the artichokes.
On Day 2, we’ll draw borders to frame the central image and add a title and text box. Each participant will be free to create his or her own version of the example sketch – make yours as simple or elaborate as you like.
You’ll be amazed at how easy it is to build complex borders when you take it one step at a time. And, because this class is so loaded with information, I’m including a full-color handbook for each participant that covers everything I’ll be teaching during the class. No need for notetaking – all you have to do is paint!
The class is live and interactive on ZOOM
Dates: May 13 & 14 from 10am till 1pm Pacific Time
Level: High beginners to Intermediate
Participants: Max 20
Medium: Watercolor
Price: $178 for 6 hours

“Jackie, the courses and quality of instructors you have cultivated through French Escapade V.I.E.W. is world-class. You do such a great job hosting the program — you are on top of your game with production quality, responsiveness with quick replay links, and also announcing upcoming events to students. A side benefit is your fun, wickedly sharp and entertaining sense of humor. Keep up the great work. I’m not surprised that V.I.E.W. is expanding and doing so well!”
