“The session recordings are one of the reasons these live on-line workshops are better than in-person workshops. The other reason is that we can sit comfortably and look over the shoulder of the artist during the demo. I’m so glad that you are presenting these workshops!”

“Michael Reardon’s watercolor class from Feb 11-12 was a wonderful experience. He is a superb teacher and painter and focused this workshop on painting water and on getting the values right. This was my second attempt at the French Abbey that Micheal used as his demo. I highly recommend his classes!”

“I had a great time participating in Michael Reardon’s class. Thank you Jackie facilitating a great workshop! I learned a lot and happy to have a few more tricks up my sleeve for a bit of control for watercolor. As Michael said…watercolor always reminds you who the boss is! And it ain’t me!”

“Painting along with Michael Reardon was such a pleasure. He made the challenging subjects of complex architecture, light and shadow, and the changing properties of water all very doable. I am looking forward to continuing today with a new painting.”

“What a superb workshop with you, Michael. There are so many things about your workshop that I loved:
First, your skillful use of your pre-recorded demonstration not only meant that we could first watch you paint a section & then paint ourselves, but also that you were fully ‘with us’ & able to listen & respond to our queries, & really look at our work that we hold up for critique etc. This made for such an inspiring, calm & relaxed instructional approach.
Second, I have really learned the advantages of underpainting, especially with those colours, as well as the wonderful granulation that can be achieved with rough paper that Ive rarely used before.
Third, I found your colour palette, the dimensions of the long narrow format of your composition as well as your actual composition, to be so uplifting !
And to you Jackie, thank you so much for organizing these truly amazing workshops & for always being such a lively coordinator!!”
