2020 V.I.E.W. Painting Contest
French Escapade would like to thank you all for participating in our online VIEW program. We are very grateful for your loyalty.
For that reason, we would like to thank you by offering you a chance to enter our 2020 painting contest and win of of 3 prizes.
3 Prizes:
Best of show (US $600)
First prize (US $400)
Second prize (US$ 200).
The prize money will be vouchers that can only be used to take VIEW classes in 2021.
Your work will be reviewed by a jury composed of 21 renowned artists, all are instructors from our 2020 VIEWS.

Rules:
This painting contest is open to any artist who has taken at least one VIEW with French Escapade in 2020 only.
Participation is free.
You may enter only one painting.
Your painting can be in any of the following media: watercolor, oil, pastel or acrylics.
There is no size restriction and no restriction on subject matter (just keep it clean please).
You may only submit your own artwork (that you personally painted).
Your artwork needs to have been done after January 1, 2020.
Your artwork must be your own original concept from your own photo(s) (and not a copy of anyone else’s copyrighted material).
Your artwork can’t be one that was done during a workshop, following teacher’s instructions.
You may not submit an artwork that was already submitted in another contest or that has been sold.
The decision of the jury is final.
By entering this art competition, you are granting us the right to reproduce images of your artwork (on our website, newsletter, and social media…with credit to you, of course).
We believe in respecting fellow artists and one another’s artworks – therefore, you may not criticize, make derogatory or otherwise inappropriate comments anywhere on the V.I.E.W. Facebook page or in any other public forum about any other artist’s work. Doing so will result in disqualification of your art from the contest.
By entering the competition, you agree to abide by all rules.
Artworks must be submitted by January 31st, 2021 by email at contact@frenchescapade.com
Awards winners will be personally contacted by email on March 1, 2021 and will also be announced and listed on our VIEW Facebook page and our website.
